El tenista ecuatoriano Andrés Gómez y el norteamericano Brian Gottfried disputarán la final del torneo Copa Caribe que se disputa en Guayaquil (Ecuador). En semifinales, Gómez derrotó a Eddie Dibbs por 7-5 y 7-5 y Gottfried a Stan Smith por 6-1 y 7-5.
