Tijeretazo en la Complutense: sus facultades tendrán que recortar el gasto un 30%

La Complutense, la universidad presencial más grande de España, ha pedido a sus facultades que recorten sus gastos un 30%. Es la primera consecuencia de la falta de financiación de la presidenta de la Comunidad de Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, a la universidad pública. Su Gobierno es el que menos invierte en campus por alumno, y cinco de las seis universidades públicas madrileñas están o se acercan a los números rojos.

De momento el recorte afecta a los gastos habituales.
Y los rectores calculan que necesitarían 200 millones para “salvar los muebles” a corto plazo.

Un nuevo modelo de financiación. En abril, los rectores denunciaron de forma discreta el ahogamiento financiero y anunciaron la creación de un nuevo modelo de financiación para 2025. El 10 de julio está convocado el Consejo Universitario de Madrid y prevé lanzar un plan de financiación.
