Municipal police officers followed the man and watched him make sales across the Andalusian city. At the time of his arrest on March 22, he was carrying 15 drug sheets and €250 in small bills.

The suspect, who already had a record for drug trafficking, agreed to cooperate. A search of his home yielded 93.5 grams of cocaine in rock form, two sets of scales, a hunting rifle with cartridges and a blank pistol.

Officers also seized €24,100 in cash concealed behind paintings, under ornaments and between the drawers of an old chest.

The suspect’s 72-year-old wife was also arrested on public health charges.
